Neoliberalism at its best(?) serves to put issues of right and wrong in the language of “smart” and “dumb” which can be a sort of ethical lubricant for privileged people.
Now, if your opinion is that nothing will Really Change until those privileged people and the system that perpetuates their privilege are snatched from their high places and dashed against the rocks, this is of little use.

But if you’re interested in near-to-medium-term improvements it can be a useful tool for convincing the people who (unjustly!) have the power to do the right thing.

Or at least stand aside and get out of the way and stop putting as many roadblocks to stop the people from doing the right thing, anyway.
