America’s domestic problems are so, so, so stupidly easy to solve in comparison to the international questions of American imperialism and what America would have to do to be a morally decent nation among other nations.
And like, there are several bad endings, where either black Americans, some racialized subset of Latinx Americans or a multiracial group of poor Americans remain in the socioeconomic position created to oppress black Americans.

But one way or another, this shit is getting solved. It’s natural. The more interaction we have with each other, the more we will unspool a logic to that interaction that adapts positively to the existing conditions of diversity.

Undoing diversity in America, at this point, is more or less impossible, no matter what Steve Brannon wants. So assuming I live to old age, I expect that much to be resolved before I die.

But the more long-term problems of American imperialism, domestic and foreign, for that matter, both the colonized positions within America (in ghettoes, on reservations) and the nations under the grip of America’s neocolonial imperialism... I dunno how we get out of that.

Because the whole point is that the colonized subjects do not have to be accommodated by the colonizers, even once/if the colonizer group is more diverse racially AND economically. But perhaps as the world continues to shrink that will change as well...
