I am very hesitant to declare this 500 years of white-dominated history null and void, or instructive only as a cautionary tale, or as the background to our Glorious Journey Towards Liberation, or as a period of useful technology but soulless people.
I think there is soul in a lot of white thought, white art, white history. And beyond that, you can never go back, you can never undo, you can never dismantle and start again. The only way forward is forward, from wherever hope and tragedy have left you.
