If this package bomb thing had happened in 2013, would Barack Obama have tweeted or spoken about it? Would that have mobilized resources and attention in a way they have not been mobilized thus far?

For that matter, I wish @BarackObama would tweet and speak about the package bomb situation happening in Austin now. The word of a former president still has a great deal of power to mobilize resources and direct attention.
