Bi guys are a specific threat to cishet male identity bc so many cishet-identifying men rely on the fact that they are attracted to women to "prove" to themselves that they cannot possibly be attracted to men.

(I think this has a lot to do with the erasure of bi/pansexual men. Our existence troubles---queers?---cishet male ID in a way many have not yet developed defenses and logics and tropes against.)
