One thing I have very little patience for is the notion that you have to be careful about calling someone racist or anti-semitic or whatever because of the ways it might hurt them.

What you're really saying is, "I don't like that you, member of disadvantaged group, have the ability to hurt or harm me." Of course you don't like it! Nobody likes having power used against them!

But I think that if we want a just society, we should want people disadvantaged groups to have power, and we don't get to decide how they use that power or what they feel the need to react against. Granted I don't know much but that's social justice 101 to me.
