I can deal with incorrect music opinions and politics more radical than mine. What I cannot accept is the failure to love Call Me By Your Name.

Every time I see a tweet about how much somebody hates Call Me By Your Name, or WORSE thinks it’s basic, I am filled with the deepest most unutterable rage and sorrow.

I don’t always elevate aesthetics over politics but when I do it is for Call Me By Your Name because Elio’s longing is fucking sacred and their love sanctifies itself beyond all politics.
