No, not at all. It’s a million other things. But a) it’s frustrating that so many black folks are “better” but couldn’t even imagine getting a foot in the door, and b) part of the X factor that makes Bruno or Adele special is not being black.
I’m not saying skill is everything. If it were Jennifer Hudson would be the biggest singer on the planet. I’m just saying the frustration is understandable and that racism is relevant (as it is everywhere all the time).
