OTOH! The way people react to radical critiques of a Deray or a Barack or an Oprah or whatever is absolutely bc that radical critique threatens an ideology that underpins our political and economic system.

Also interesting that there can be whole ideologies and worldviews that are violently opposed and clashing and yet uphold the same political and economic system.

ALSO I always think... even a bankrupt system is a system, and generally will resist entropy better than the absence of any system at all. Which is why I have a lot of trouble with many radicals. The number of people who are helped by chaos is relatively low, I think.
