lol, you just straight up don't know the history. It's a lot of shit that comes from black queer people and it's a lot of shit that comes from queer people in particular. "Slept on" however, really has its roots in hip hop culture---i.e., black culture.
You'd be better off making this argument about a word like "shook" or even more "gag," "children," etc. I could perhaps buy those words as being derived from a shared queer culture. But not "sleeping on," lol.
