It’s a systemic problem that stems from an individualistic and tribal mindset. “Us vs. them” is what got us here.

ehhhhh... I believe that when it comes to ethics but when we're talking about tactics, working on white mindsets is an unfortunate necessity. Not everybody's work, ofc, but I would hardly say that all attempts to understand or affect white attitudes are part of the problem.

which is to say, that guy is obviously pretty wrong, but exploring the psychology of racism is valuable, just like... in non-stupid terms. Obviously dude above is approaching it in a simplistic/self-serving way.
