Obviously people debating Killmonger's ethics is a sign of the success of the performance but I would really love to read an appreciation of the just the performance itself, which was really phenomenal.

The fight over Killmonger is beyond fascinating from an analytical POV and also shows that Michael B. Jordon delivered probably the best performance of the film, and against type too!
