If you think being gay is wrong, you're homophobic. Pretty simple.

What we’re saying is, this middle ground y’all want to believe in, where you can think being gay is wrong but you aren’t acting hateful towards gay people, doesn’t exist. I don’t care what’s in your heart, I care what you DO to hurt me.

When you say stuff like that, I think what you mean is “I’m not trying to hurt gay people.” But white people hurt black folks all the time without TRYING to. The dude that denies your mortgage bc its in the “wrong neighborhood” isn’t TRYING to keep black ppl poor... but he does.

Same kinda shit with straight folks. A lot of y’all don’t MEAN to hurt us, but you do. The casual way you joke about guys that are too “swish” or whatever, down the line that leads to people getting gay bashed or bullied or killed or kicked out by their parents, etc.
