Honestly it seems as though the whole party, totally and utterly unprepared to govern, has collapsed into the “counter punching” style of the man who once represented the party’s id, and now has captured the party’s soul.

I am very unclear as to why explicitly making an enemy of the federal bureau of investigations is a winning political strategy for the Republican Party, but OK.
