People want to imagine that the Democratic party is torn between Crooked Media and Chapo Trap House, but this misses the existence of, you know, most of the people of color in the Dem coalition.

But also, if you make us choose between Crooked Media and Chapo, yes, most black people will either not vote or pick Crooked Media for the little representation we get with deray's pod, even if he is Too Corporate. (But you'll also miss out on a LOT of votes.)

So what I'm really saying is, in this podcast metaphor, we need to get some Loud Speakers Network type candidates in the mix (like Auntie Maxine), who will agitate for more radical policy AND rep brown ppl and our cultures and our specific interests.
