I don't think "evil" means "of below average moral capacity." I think Barack Obama is of (significantly) above average moral capacity.

But evil is the choices we make and the harm we cause, not merely how well or poorly we compare to other people in the same circumstances.

That is exactly what I said. To faithfully execute the office of President of the United States requires one to do, and so be, evil.

Barack Obama is by some margin the least evil person to have taken the job in my lifetime. That seems indisputable.

i think this is fair. i also think he wrestled with the choices he had to make more than any president since perhaps carter.

Absolutely! But also that matters less than none to the families of people he murdered or deported. And they matter as much as he does.

i agree that his grief / conscience over terrible acts do not excuse them, or matter to those harmed. but i prefer a leader who understands the gravity and consequences of difficult choices than one who considers them merely part of a day's work.
