Also seriously what we actually need from Dave Chappelle is an hour of great comedy on not knowing who's in the audience.
so yeah he can do his whole garbage routine of "I'm mad that I'm sad bc I made you sad." But he can also do when a white person laughs too hard at a black joke. And then he can say "cisgender" in a funny voice and wonder about if a cis person laughs too hard at a trans joke.
and it can turn into a meditation on who gets to laugh at what, which would be perfect because it would take his current retrograde preoccupation and marry it with the progressive preoccupation that drove him away from Chappelle's Show
So we would finally get a satisfactory explanation of why he left the show, which everyone has been salivating after for a decade and a half, and he could more successfully make his "your discomfort makes me uncomfortable jokes" about himself...
