I am fully, inarguably, 2000% in board with gov't taking a larger role in healthcare. ...but as long as the Republican Party exists, y'all know we will still be fighting insurance to properly cover needed services, only the insurance companies will be our state governments, no?
Just like... a reminder that even Medicare-for-all is an incomplete step forward. It will still leave some people out. Many politicians will still be more interested in "saving money" (following the interests of the rich) than in saving human lives.
Everything, all of it, even the revolution, whatever revolution you envision, is a tiny, incomplete step towards justice. And yet, every tiny, incomplete step towards justice is hundreds, thousands, millions, billions of infinitely valuable human lives.
