But Denzel's still the best option. Could you imagine Whiplash with fucking DENZEL WASHINGTON? It would have totally balanced out the fact that Miles Teller is not attractive.

homegirl is genuinely pretty damn good in this movie, even though she can't sing for shit. (at least in this film. I hear she was good in Cabaret? Which is... kinda shocking?)

k but your girl REALLY delivered on the acting and it is clear from the final song that her inability to sing was A Choice and like it was an AWFUL choice but at least I know she is actually capable of producing sound out of her mouth.
