My wish for journalists, artists, and everyone in 2018 is to simply say the word "white" when you mean white. When you are referring to something distinctly and particularly white, simply use the word. You may substitute Caucasian if you wish.
Another more frivolous example is the show Girls, which is very particularly about white girls, and which I semi-jokingly think should have been named accordingly.

That's an example I'd have a harder time with because by calling some behavior or way of being "white," I'd seem to imply it can't or doesn't apply to any people of color. Like saying golf is a white sport or something. (Granted, I haven't watched Girls.)

Well I mean, first off they're all white. There's no black girls on the show AFAIK. Second... they act really white, lol.
