2) Funny action flicks that are plotted like a Disney movie but with grownups and sex but not too much Actual Feelings (e.g., Ocean's 11, Casino Royale)

3) Melancholy modernist character studies, preferably with some degree of erotic longing, bonus points for gayness, points off for too much focus on recreating a period setting. (e.g., A Single Man, Moonlight, Brooklyn)
