that is why we fight for the Democratic party, and hope, by fighting for the Democratic party, to influence and change the party from within.

There are people who are suffering for whom the parties are more or less equally harmful. There are people who are suffering for whom the Democrats are almost infinitely better than the Republicans. The only people for whom the reverse is true are rich and privileged.
