"Their policies will not liberate us or resemble justice and will allow millions or billions of people to suffer and die" is a good argument against centrists. But "leftists will win by HUGE MARGINS" is... um... untested, to be generous.
"They don't win elections by a large enough margin" is not a good argument against center-left politicians, especially not ones that win elections in Alabama.

Also bottom line the "leftists will win elections better" argument boils down to "more white people will vote for leftists bc class." Wut. We really still on "talk about class more and white people will suddenly agree to be in coalition with minorities!!"
