but it was about what men do to women. That's what it was about. And that doesn't mean that women don't do it to men too, but it's perfectly alright for people to focus on when men do it to women for all the reasons I said.
I guess I don't see where the reduction is. I'm not blaming anybody for letting a story about how much dating and sex sucks for a woman in 2017 be about women. Again, is a story about/focus on black drug addicts disrespectful to white drug addicts?
also there were ALL KINDS of details that made the story itself specific to women (not least, you know, the genders of the characters, lol), with the obvious example being all the "is he gonna kill me" stuff? So if it's focused on women, and the reaction focuses on women...
