There are those for whom the Republican and Democratic parties are functionally equivalent, in terms of material impact on their lives.

HOWEVER. There is a large group of people who do not fit in either category above, yet choose to ignore those of us who are threatened from all directions by Republicans in a way we are simply not threatened and attacked by Democrats.
