plus he clearly has listened enough to understand how social justice types see the matter, bc although his language is clearly calibrated to his audience, I don't see a whole lot of unnecessary apologizing for whiteness, etc.
listen first, confirm with ppl who experience the issue that you understand and can represent them well, and then rep them to whatever privileged spaces you have access to. Something I try (and often fail) to practice in my life.
