I mean, there is something to the argument that if Republicans are going to offer white voters racial resentment on one hand, you need a powerful incentive on the other hand. And a lot of further-left policies would really help ppl in this country.

The problem is I think it leads to a lot of quixotic questing for white votes when like... idk, there's MILLIONS of people of color who don't vote, maybe ask them why and give them a reason to vote?

No, as a remedy for racist voting habits. And that's my critique of it too. It won't make these voters less racist, so unless you have a HARD line on anti-racism, all these racist white votes you're chasing will eventually cause you to lapse into racist policy making.
