Also: what does American anti-imperialism look like besides "Death to America"? I get it if the critique is that America is fundamentally an imperialist nation and to change that would be a sort of national suicide (analogous to class suicide maybe?)
But like... is there something we can do to reduce harm? Really I think American foreign policy is genuinely an area where we are as a nation fed up with the answers given by Dems and Republicans, but no one's really offering alternative POLICY positions.
or even a framework or theory or logic whereby alternate policy positions could even be generated. But maybe the policy is literally just "don't send US guns overseas period."
