I would say, highly unlikely, even if there were an emerging supermajority (which there isn't)...but maybe I'm just too pessimistic!

I think if we can avoid a civil war and preserve some approximation of representative democracy, we'll almost certainly see big improvements over the next three decades. So I'd concentrate on those immediate goals...but what do I know?
I think people like us have no right to say what is enough and what isn't. We should stop where and when people who are actually suffering tell us to stop. But I'm young and idealistic.
