      Wait wait wait wait, you're tying this to watching the objectively far worse earlier Marvel movies (possible exception for Spider-Man 1 but those others were almost all trash) rather than like... idk... reading the actual comics??

      To me Spidey 2 and a couple of the Xmen movies are in that iffy territory. Not awful, not amazing.
