the white working class is not an oppressed group. The working class is an oppressed group. This is equivalent to saying: rich black people are not an oppressed group. Black people are an oppressed group.

Rich black people and the white working class are subgroups that deal with privilege from one adjective and oppression from another! Perhaps we ought to focus on whether they have more concern with reinforcing the privilege or using that privilege to end the oppression.

at present, Trump voters at least seem to have chosen the privilege. That makes them a danger to me. If we are going to make them a key part of our electoral strategy, I'ma need you to check in with me and give me SOME kind of assurances you won't forget me, thanks!
