I mean. The majority of white voters on literally every income bracket voted for Donald Trump. Trump voters aren't JUST working class. But the majority of the white working class that voted are Trump voters.
also geez every other day we've got some freaking neocon like Bill Kristol giving the "give me an excuse to be a Democrat, please" speech, and we get another article of Trump voters being like "oh yeah, he's not gonna get us any money but he is racist, so!!!!"
and I don't support the so-called Hillary Clinton coalition, bc I just don't think it ends in a great place, but I have a LOT of trouble with the idea that the Truly Pragmatic Route is to court the white working class. Morally right? Maybe, if done right. Pragmatic? Ehhhhhhhh...
