It's not "any random centrist" also when you talk about black wealth are you talking about the financial crisis? Are you really blaming the Democratic party for the fact that black folks were disproportionately targeted for predatory lending?
Like... politicians work within political constraints? I don't give unlimited berth to anybody (got a pretty hard line at "eh, racism, not that important," esp from whites) but I don't give them unlimited blame for everything bad that happens...?
