You know, this John Conyers business has me really in my feelings about how when we partake in injustice, we put our communities in such jeopardy.

I absolutely believe Conyers harassed and perhaps assaulted women. And he probably justified it as normal. I can hear the voices now saying, "all the white boys do it, why shouldn't we..." xyz.

never suspecting how his evil would come back around to not only damage the victim but eventually undermine the great good he did in his life. You can only forestall justice for so long, and when it comes it does not discriminate.

Another important thought: I cannot show you mercy until I have the power to do justice to you. Otherwise all I can do is acquiesce to your superior power, which only adds to the ledger of your injustice.
