also you don't understand Cheesecake until you understand that Cheesecake is a FAMILY restaurant. It's for families. Children are the justification and the dignity of Cheesecake. And not small kids. Like 10-16 year olds.

Cheesecake Factory is basically the aesthetic summing-up of the culture of my upper middle class white Southern Baptist high school. Infinite variety with absolutely no difference, but very tasty. Comforting yet soulless yet comforting.
