This Roy Moore situation is really increasing my hope that this whole thing ends with the Republican establishment seizing back the party and absolutely humiliating Donald.

And then I could ABSOLUTELY see the NY AG still prosecuting him for shady business dealings revealed during the course of the Mueller investigation.

Like the worst-case scenario for Donald is really low probability but it is a) not impossible and b) really bad and ends with Trumpism disgraced, Trump in jail, and liberalism triumphant.

but I cannot deny it would be monstrously emotionally satisfying. Like a modern head-on-the-castle-walls situation. I'm not above enjoying that, as long as there are no ACTUAL heads.
