It's all "I built the pyramids" type shit. I might've died doing it, but I built the pyramids and built them taller and better than anyone.

And you can try telling them "well, you built the pyramids because you're a slave." And they'll say, "I built the pyramids!"

"I power the whole country!" "I make the steel in the Empire State Building!" "I built that car you're driving!" That's what people want.

And in the absence of that they're only going to get more bitter at people telling them what they built was murder and ashes.
