I view it as a missed opportunity to show unity & celebrate a win. They don't have to agree with everything he says, but heckling him so he can't speak is stupid (IMHO). I see your point of view though.
I see yours too! I think... how much you value unity depends on how much/how often unity has worked out for you, you know? All depends on where you're standing.

Good points. I'm going to stand with people who feel marginalized & are frustrated by his head feint towards appeasing the racists. But I think showing up at his office and talking it through 2mrw works better than disavowing him 3 days before the election against Gillespie.

I have no problem with citizens letting politicians know where they stand and that they’re on notice. It would be better to petition, call, protest the state legislature and city councils to get sanctuary cities.
