We gotta get into some serious thought abt how certain struggles---the struggles of privilege people---take up all the oxygen in the room.
Like... the big critique of "WWC" rhetoric TNC had was like... when we make it about WWC they will suck up all the oxygen in the room...

Because we don't think WWC ppl are SUPPOSED to suffer. Or like, if black women start a discussion around their oppression...

And then suddenly when white women get into it, it becomes Important bc, you know, white women aren't SUPPOSED to suffer.

Black women, black working class, yeah sure 100%, their suffering is natural and normal and usual, so the response is smaller.

And I just... not at ALL to silence or invalidate cis male survivors of assault, but please please make sure you don't accidentally...

Allow them to take up all the oxygen in the room, because cis men, especially "masculine" cishet men, aren't SUPPOSED to suffer assault.

That's... all I am qualified to say on the subject and maybe as a non-survivor I've already said too much just... idk a thought.
