Seriously what does the US spend annually on war vs on programs to help people?

As far as I can tell yearly military budget is circa 500 billion, but yearly spending on Medicaid + other welfare is like 1 trillion.

And like, not saying that ratio is good or acceptable, spending a trillion on helping doesn't erase spending half a trillion on killing.

I mean maybe add how much the US spends annually on incarcerating people to the war budget, maybe that changes the equation.
