I read it, twice, and at least two responses to it, one positive, one negative (and responses to those responses).
I know it was about "interest not ability." But shrug, say, someone said "black folks can do other things, but they prefer physical things."

Would that not be obviously racist? And as one response said, wouldn't a less-object-oriented approach to engineering HELP in many cases?

But the bottom line is, that kind of "women naturally do x, men naturally do y" thinking upholds every sexist idea in America.
