I view my own role as trying to identify what the eventual sensible compromise should be, not giving activists a shining ideal...

Interesting. With the existing R party, I don't see how UHC happens w\o an ACA style Dem supermajority, which I think is the Bernie plan.

ps I think politically your best bet would be holdout Sun Belt dems, but I dunno how far left GA/TX/etc swing when/if Dems win races there.
