Also remember, the vote isn't nearly as racialized as you might think. ~4 out of 10 whites went to Clinton, ~3 out of 10 Hispanics to Trump.

I think has to do in large part with the hypervisibility of black folks, who are of course the most polarized group in terms of party.
But you know, we also have one party that is generally welcoming to diversity and one party that is... not.
