3/Off the top of my head, I can think of at least 6 different meanings of the word "racist". Probably an incomplete list, but here goes...

4/Racism Type 1 is simple bigotry. "I don't like black people", etc. This is probably the most common usage, still.

5/Racism Type 2 is subscribing to racial theories. "Scientific racism", if you will, though often not very scientific at all.

6/Racism Type 3 is racial discrimination, such as in hiring, dating, college admissions, etc. It's an action, not an attitude.

7/Racism Type 4 is white supremacism. This means actively working to create or perpetuate a system of white supremacy. Jeff Sessions, etc.

8/Racism Type 5 is quietly acceding to a white supremacist system, either because you benefit from it, or because fighting things is hard.

9/Racism Type 6 is benefiting from a system of white supremacy, whether you fight against it or not.

10/All white ppl, even the most active social justice activists, are Racist Type 6, because of option value. (Time for some finance theory!)
