True! I think the real differences were a) Obama policies didn't work for a lot of people in a way they could feel...
B) Bc HRC had so little cred with the identity left base, she had to amp up her social justice rhetoric far beyond Obama.

And c) Explicit politics of cultural resentment weren't on offer with Romney or McCain. They are with Trump. :(

How about: Trump won bc the electoral college gives xtra weight to slave states, Putin used active measures successfully, & misogyny.
