This deserves a much much longer response, but I basically feel that the term "racist" has been allowed to mean too many different things.

There should be different words for "one who probably benefits from unfair systems" and "one who wants to preserve unfair systems."

But a third word for "one who perpetuates unfair systems, meaning to or not." Which is what it means here.

Sure. The problem (IMO) is that we've tried to use one word to describe all these different things, and it's just counterproductive.

The short counterargument, which also would take a longer response to really explain...

Is that the purpose of social justice discourse is as much to reflect the worldview/experiences of oppressed people as it is to educate...

Privileged people. Probably more the former than the latter. And I think the former is a worthy goal in and of itself.

I love understanding other people's worldview. It's one of the things I live for, actually. But...this isn't the way to accomplish that.
