I think if the goal is to point out that people benefit from unfair systems, calling them "demons" is guaranteed to be misunderstood.
But isn't it nice to have language that reflects your reality? Isn't that good and useful in and of itself?

I believe language exists for the purposes of communication *between* people. If it's not doing that, it's not working.
