I basically think our society massively over-relies on individual shaming as opposed to systemic change.

I think if the goal is to point out that people benefit from unfair systems, calling them "demons" is guaranteed to be misunderstood.

Privileged people. Probably more the former than the latter. And I think the former is a worthy goal in and of itself.
