And remember, even if Trump gets THE SAME number of votes in 2020 as he did in 2016, he'd still lose by 3-4 million votes.

Any changes in the distribution of 80,000 of those votes and he loses. And he won't have Hillary Clinton for him and Russia to kick around.

Maybe Russia will help Trump again in 2020. Maybe white Americans will overlook their revulsion of Charlottesville and vote for him again.

Those things are entirely possible. But is Bannon right that the events of this week will INCREASE the number of white voters for Trump?

I don't see any evidence of that, especially with independent support for him and the GOP going the other way.

So again, after this week, it's likely that Trump voters mostly stick with him or even double down. But where is the evidence of GROWTH?
