which goes into a fund to help undocumented people go through an expedited citizenship process, or support kids if they get deported...

of course, this would just backfire bc then companies would stop hiring brown people under "suspicions" they might be undocumented.

so at the end of the day, again, the solution is to empower undocumented people, because otherwise they will be abused like this.
